ABOUT
Lera Bolkonska is a London-based Artist and Illustrator from Ukraine. Working primarily with watercolour, ink, pastels and ceramics, she creates hand-drawn imagery that embraces imperfection and spontaneity to capture the emotional truth of a moment.
Deeply interested in human psychology, Lera explores the quiet poetry of everyday life, where humour and empathy intersect. Her work resists social pressure and normative expectations, celebrating individuality, vulnerability and nonconformity.
Alongside her personal practice, she collaborates with brands, cultural organisations and hospitality venues on live illustration, editorial commissions, brand activations and bespoke visual projects.
Lera is currently completing an MA in Illustration after graduating from the Graduate Diploma in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, UAL.
